agnClkSrcFrequencyAlarmTrap
Module: RAD-MIB
OID (symbolic): RAD-MIB::agnClkSrcFrequencyAlarmTrap
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.6.1.0.31
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description:
The trap is sent upon Recovered Clock Frequency alarm.
What is agnClkSrcFrequencyAlarmTrap?
This SNMP notification trap is sent to management stations when a clock source recovers from a frequency alarm condition. A network operator monitoring system health would receive this trap to know that a previously-failed clock source has stabilized back to proper frequency operation. This signal indicates recovery from synchronization issues in the system.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' RAD-MIB::agnClkSrcFrequencyAlarmTrap snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.6.1.0.31
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
