Description:

This trap indicates that the quantity of alarm messages which have been written in the alarm buffer, since the last clear command, exceeds predefined threshold. (Buffer size) The new alarms are overwriting the oldest alarms (the first alarms written in the buffer). For LA-110,threshold value is 200 alarms.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' RAD-MIB::agnAlarmBufferOverflow
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.6.1.0.17

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
