Description: Defines Quantum Bridge Communications OID registration structure and enterprise SMI hierarchy for all QB MIBs.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is QUANTUMBRIDGE-REG?
QUANTUMBRIDGE-REG is an enterprise registration MIB from Quantum Bridge Communications (a broadband wireless access equipment vendor) that defines the company's top-level OID branch and the sub-tree structure—separating full MIB modules (qbMibs) from AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance modules (qbProducts)—under which all Quantum Bridge product MIBs register. It contains no runtime monitorable objects of its own (sample_objects is empty); it exists purely to reserve and organize OID space for other Quantum Bridge MIB modules. Consequently it exposes no hardware or software status data directly—no uptime, temperature, or counters—since that data lives in the specific product MIBs registered beneath this tree. It depends on the standard SNMPv2-SMI enterprises numbering scheme for its OID assignment. It would be deployed only as supporting infrastructure alongside actual Quantum Bridge broadband wireless access product MIBs. The QUANTUMBRIDGE-REG MIB itself is never polled by an NMS; it only matters at compile time when loading the vendor's other product modules.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in QUANTUMBRIDGE-REG. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
With no sample_objects defined, this module offers no runtime monitoring scenario—it is purely an OID registration/namespace MIB. Any actual device monitoring would target the specific Quantum Bridge product MIB modules (the .mi2/.mib files) that register their object trees beneath this module's OID branch.
