Description: Whether the ring port is connected to the working ring or the protected ring

What is ringPortRingMode?

This sets whether the ring port is connected to the working ring or the protected ring in a dual-ring protection scheme. An admin configures the primary traffic-carrying port as working and its protection counterpart as protected. This setting is central to how the ring's automatic protection switching decides which path carries live traffic.
