What is etherPortStatsTxUndersize?

This counts packets transmitted on the port that were smaller than the 64-byte Ethernet minimum. Legitimate traffic should never generate undersized frames, so a nonzero and growing count here usually points to a hardware or driver problem on the sending side. An admin troubleshooting intermittent connectivity issues would check this counter as one sign of a misbehaving NIC or switch port.
