Description: Monitors Pepwave SpeedFusion bonded VPN tunnels, providing tunnel state, bonded bandwidth, and latency across WAN links.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is PEPVPN-SPEEDFUSION?
PEPVPN-SPEEDFUSION is Pepwave's proprietary MIB for its SpeedFusion bonded VPN technology, which aggregates multiple WAN connections (broadband, LTE, satellite) into a single resilient tunnel. It exposes tunnel-level status and performance data covering the state of each SpeedFusion tunnel and the individual WAN links bonded into it, including throughput and latency characteristics. As a monitoring MIB it is centered on connectivity/performance health rather than physical hardware sensors: it lets administrators confirm whether a bonded tunnel is up, how much aggregate bandwidth is available across bonded links, and whether latency or loss on any single WAN link is degrading the bonded connection. It is a standalone Pepwave enterprise MIB with no strong dependency on other standard MIBs beyond basic SNMP conventions. It is deployed on Pepwave/Peplink routers at branch offices, mobile/vehicle sites, or remote locations relying on multi-WAN bonded VPN for resilient connectivity, and is documented in the PEPVPN-SPEEDFUSION MIB.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in PEPVPN-SPEEDFUSION. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Pepwave/Peplink router
- SD-WAN/bonded VPN appliance
Monitoring Examples
An administrator would poll per-tunnel status objects to confirm a SpeedFusion tunnel to a given remote peer is established, and check per-WAN-link objects within that tunnel for bonded throughput and latency figures. A tunnel showing reduced aggregate bandwidth or one bonded link reporting high latency or packet loss would indicate a failing WAN circuit that SpeedFusion is compensating for. Because sample_objects were not available for this module, specific table names cannot be confirmed, but SpeedFusion deployments typically expose tunnel-state and per-link-bonding tables of this kind.
What Can Be Monitored
- SpeedFusion tunnel state
- bonded WAN link status
- aggregate bonded bandwidth
- per-link latency
- per-link packet loss
