Category: DSL and Broadband
Description: Provides Subscriber Connection Manager (SCM) extension objects for session binding and subscriber policy on Paradyne platforms.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is PDN-SCMEXT-MIB?
PDN-SCMEXT-MIB is a Paradyne (built on PDN-HEADER-MIB) proprietary MIB configuring ATM VCI/VPI limits and auto-configured cross-connections. Its objects cover a max-VCI/VPI config table (ifIndex, max VPI, max VCI, row status) and an auto-config cross-connect table (channel, ifIndex, VPI, VCI, traffic descriptor, row status). As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm VCI/VPI address-space limits and auto-provisioned ATM cross-connects on a Paradyne DSL/ATM device. It is deployed on Paradyne Networks DSL/ATM equipment. Engineers can download the PDN-SCMEXT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in PDN-SCMEXT-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Paradyne Networks DSL/ATM equipment
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks devAtmMaxVciVpiConfigTable and devAtmAutoConfigXconTable to confirm VCI/VPI limits and auto-provisioned cross-connects on a Paradyne DSL/ATM device.
What Can Be Monitored
