Category: CPE/Router

Description: Manages PSTN voice interface configuration and call statistics on OneAccess CPE routers.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ONEACCESS-PSTN-MIB?

ONEACCESS-PSTN-MIB is a minimal OneAccess proprietary MIB defining dial-up/dial-down notification objects for PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) backup interfaces on OneAccess CPE routers. Its two notification objects signal when a PSTN dial-backup connection comes up (dialUp) or goes down (dialDown). As a hardware/software-status/notification MIB it exists purely to alert an administrator via SNMP trap when a PSTN backup link's state changes, indicating the primary WAN link has failed over (or recovered). It is deployed on OneAccess CPE routers with PSTN dial-backup interfaces. Engineers can download the ONEACCESS-PSTN-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ONEACCESS-PSTN-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • OneAccess CPE routers (PSTN dial-backup)

Monitoring Examples

A network operations center subscribes to dialUp/dialDown notifications to get immediate alerts when a site's PSTN backup link activates, signaling the primary WAN connection has failed.

What Can Be Monitored

  • PSTN dial-backup up/down trap notifications
