Category: Products/Registration, SNMP Framework
Description: Defines Nokia AZC product registration OID arcs for enterprise MIB module identification.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is NOKIA-AZC-REGISTRATION-MIB?
NOKIA-AZC-REGISTRATION-MIB is an OID registration module that defines the enterprise arc under which Nokia's AZC product line MIB modules are numbered. It belongs to the Nokia network-equipment technology area generically, without describing a specific device function. As a pure registration/identity module it exposes no runtime data objects, only OID subtree definitions (nokia, nokiaProducts, azcProducts, azcProductIds) used to uniquely identify AZC product variants such as p020. It is therefore not used for monitoring hardware/software status directly; rather it provides the naming infrastructure that other AZC-specific MIBs reference when reporting such status. It depends on the standard SNMPv2-SMI enterprise numbering conventions and Nokia's top-level enterprise OID. It is deployed alongside the functional AZC product MIBs wherever Nokia AZC equipment is managed, with the NOKIA-AZC-REGISTRATION-MIB MIB serving purely as the shared OID naming reference those functional modules depend on.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in NOKIA-AZC-REGISTRATION-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
This module contains no monitorable data objects, only OID arc definitions such as azcProducts and azcProductIds used to assign a unique subtree (e.g., under p020) to a specific Nokia AZC product model. A management application would use these OIDs purely for identification, such as recognizing which AZC product a device's sysObjectID points to, not for polling any operational value. No monitoring scenario applies since this is a registration-only module.
