What Is NET-SNMP-MIB?
NET-SNMP-MIB is the top-level enterprise MIB for the open-source Net-SNMP project, establishing the base OID tree under which all Net-SNMP agent extension sub-MIBs (covering things like agent extensions, disk, and process monitoring) register their objects, modules, and notifications. It is purely a registration/namespace MIB, and each NET-SNMP-MIB OID branch - covering objects, enumerations, module IDs, agent OIDs, transport domains, and experimental extensions - exists for namespace assignment rather than carrying any runtime sensor or performance data itself. It has no direct role in hardware/software status monitoring on its own; the actual monitoring sub-MIBs that depend on it (covering host resources, disk space, process status, load, etc.) are what expose pollable status data. Essentially all other Net-SNMP-specific MIB modules depend on this MIB for their base OID registration. It is present, implicitly, on any Linux/Unix server or network device running the Net-SNMP agent (snmpd).

Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
netSnmpObjects, netSnmpEnumerations, and netSnmpModuleIDs are pure OID branch identifiers with no instantiable runtime values, so there's no concrete polling/anomaly scenario to describe for this module itself; actual monitorable data such as disk, memory, or load is exposed by other Net-SNMP sub-MIBs registered under netSnmpAgentOIDs and netSnmpExperimental.
