Description: Type of Channel Adapter; either a Host Channel Adapter (HCA), or a Target Channel Adapter (TCA). If the type of CA cannot be determined, the unknown(1) value is returned.
What is mlxIBCAType?
Whether this Channel Adapter is a Host Channel Adapter (HCA, supporting the IBA Verbs software layer) or a Target Channel Adapter (TCA, using a vendor-specific transport interface); this distinguishes a server NIC from a storage/target-side adapter.
