What Is Juniper-PIM-CONF?
Juniper-PIM-CONF is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module declaring SNMP agent support for the Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) component on Juniper E-series edge routers. It defines no runtime objects itself, only compliance statements for the associated PIM MIB. It carries no direct hardware or software status data and is not a monitoring target. Its role is limited to informing NMS/MIB tooling which PIM MIB features the agent implements. It applies to Juniper E-series routers running PIM multicast routing. Engineers can download the Juniper-PIM-CONF file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Juniper-PIM-CONF. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
