What Is Juniper-Notification-Log-CONF?
Juniper-Notification-Log-CONF is a Juniper Networks agent-capabilities/conformance MIB stating SNMP agent support for the standard Notification Log MIB (RFC 3014) on Juniper E-series edge routers. It defines no managed objects of its own, only AGENT-CAPABILITIES statements identifying which Notification Log MIB object groups the Juniper agent implements. Being a conformance-only module, it has no counters or state data usable for hardware/software status monitoring itself. It depends directly on the IETF NOTIFICATION-LOG-MIB, whose object and notification groups it certifies support for. It is used by management systems for agent-capability discovery on Juniper E-series routers, complementing actual notification-log polling done against the standard MIB. Engineers can download the Juniper-Notification-Log-CONF file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
