juniAcctngSelectionType
Module: Juniper-ACCOUNTING-MIB
OID (symbolic): Juniper-ACCOUNTING-MIB::juniAcctngSelectionType
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.24.1.1.1.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Bits
Access: read-write
Description: Indicates the types of connections for which the information selected by this entry are to be collected. The ietfAccountControl(0) bit position indicates that the ACCOUNTING-CONTROL-MIB.acctngSelectionType in the base conceptual row determines the selection type. All other bit positions for this object over-ride the acctngSelectionType in the base conceptual row. When the value of this object over-rides the acctngSelectionType object, the following objects have no meaning:
ACCOUNTING-CONTROL-MIB.acctngFileCollectFailedAttempts ACCOUNTING-CONTROL-MIB.acctngFileMinAge
because they control or are related to connection oriented accounting.
What is juniAcctngSelectionType?
A bitmask that overrides the base ACCOUNTING-CONTROL-MIB selection type for this entry: leaving only the ietfAccountControl bit set defers to the standard MIB's setting, while setting connectionLessLayer2 switches this row to Juniper's connectionless accounting mode, in which case the base MIB's failed-attempt and min-age objects no longer apply.
