Description: Jetnet5010G module

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is Jetnet5010G?

Jetnet5010G is a Korenix vendor MIB for the JetNet 5010G, an industrial web-managed Ethernet rail switch designed for harsh/industrial environments such as factory automation and transportation. It exposes basic system-identification objects (name, location, contact, firmware version, MAC address) alongside switch-setting and administrative-password configuration objects. Its monitoring value centers on software/configuration status, firmware version tracking and administrative access configuration, plus basic system identity for inventory purposes, though it does not appear to expose deep hardware sensor data such as temperature or power based on the sampled objects. It is a Korenix vendor-specific MIB under the private enterprises tree, independent of IETF standards. Typical deployment is DIN-rail mounted industrial Ethernet switches in factory, rail, or utility automation networks. Engineers can download the Jetnet5010G file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Jetnet5010G. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Korenix JetNet 5010G industrial Ethernet rail switch

Monitoring Examples

An admin would poll systemDescr, systemFwVer, and systemMacAddress to confirm exactly which switch model and firmware version is deployed, and check switchSettingSystemName/switchSettingSystemLocation/switchSettingSystemContact to verify inventory and contact metadata is correctly configured. A firmware version returned by systemFwVer that doesn't match the expected baseline would flag a switch needing a firmware update.

What Can Be Monitored

  • system firmware version
  • system name/location/contact
  • MAC address
  • administrative password configuration
