Description: D-Link IPv6 static routing MIB providing SNMP objects for configuring and monitoring IPv6 static route entries.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is IPV6-STATIC-ROUTE-MIB?
IPV6-STATIC-ROUTE-MIB is a D-Link proprietary enterprise MIB for configuring and monitoring IPv6 static routes and the associated IPv6 ARP (neighbor) table on D-Link network devices. It exposes route-table style objects describing destination prefixes, next-hop addresses, and route status, alongside neighbor/ARP entries mapping IPv6 addresses to link-layer addresses. In a monitoring context it is used to verify that configured static routes remain active and correctly point to reachable next hops, and that IPv6 neighbor resolution is working, both of which are critical to IPv6 forwarding correctness on the device. It is a proprietary enterprise MIB and does not appear to formally import a standard IETF IPv6 routing MIB. It is typically deployed on D-Link switches and routers used in small-to-midsize enterprise IPv6 network deployments. Engineers can download the IPV6-STATIC-ROUTE-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in IPV6-STATIC-ROUTE-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- D-Link switch or router
Monitoring Examples
No object or table names were supplied for this module (sample_objects is empty), so a concrete polling scenario naming real objects cannot be honestly constructed. In general such a MIB would expose a static-route table (destination/next-hop/status) and an IPv6 ARP/neighbor table, but no specific object names can be confirmed from the available data.
