Description: ICT MIB for power distribution panel management providing circuit breaker status, load measurements, and alarm notifications.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ICT-DISTRIBUTION-PANEL-MIB?

This is ICT's MIB for managing power distribution panels, covering circuit-breaker and output-circuit status. It exposes device identity data (model, name, hardware/firmware revision, MAC address) alongside electrical measurements: system voltage, system current, and a per-output table of circuit current readings. As a power infrastructure MIB, it is fundamentally about hardware/electrical status monitoring: detecting overcurrent conditions, tracking output load per circuit, and alarming on faults in the distribution panel. It does not appear to build on a standard IETF power MIB, being ICT's own enterprise MIB (ictPower/distPanel branch). It is typically deployed in data centers or telecom sites where an ICT distribution panel feeds downstream equipment and needs remote monitoring for load balancing and overload alarms. Engineers can download the ICT-DISTRIBUTION-PANEL-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ICT-DISTRIBUTION-PANEL-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • ICT power distribution panel / PDU

Monitoring Examples

An operator polls systemVoltage and systemCurrent for the overall panel's input feed, then walks outputTable/outputEntry (indexed by outputNumber, with outputName for the labeled circuit) to check each outputCurrent value against breaker ratings. A rising outputCurrent on one output entry approaching its rated capacity, cross-checked against deviceFirmware/deviceHardware for the panel's revision, would flag an overloaded circuit before the breaker trips.

What Can Be Monitored

  • system input voltage
  • system input current
  • per-output circuit current
  • output circuit naming/identification
  • device model/firmware/hardware inventory
