What Is HUAWEI-SIP-MIB?

HUAWEI-SIP-MIB is a Huawei MIB for managing SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) user-agent configuration on Huawei VoIP gateways and media/softswitch platforms. It exposes SIP client configuration objects along with registration status and call statistics for SIP-based voice sessions. Its monitoring value lies in software/service status -- tracking SIP registration state (registered/unregistered) and call statistics reveals whether the VoIP signaling service is healthy and processing calls, serving as an application-layer health check for the voice gateway rather than a hardware sensor.
