Description: Indicates wether the SIP module is permitted to generate traps. By default, this object should have the value disabled(2).
What is hwSIPTrapsControl?
This OID enables or disables all SNMP trap generation from the SIP module, such as hwSIPRegisterFailure or hwSIPServerSwitch, disabled(2) by default. An admin enables this so their NMS is notified automatically of SIP registration failures or server switchovers instead of having to poll.
