Description: HH3C MIB for RAID storage array management monitoring disk array status on H3C storage servers.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is HH3C-RAID-MIB?

HH3C-RAID-MIB is an H3C Technologies proprietary MIB (extending the standard ENTITY-MIB) reporting RAID array status on H3C storage/server platforms. Its RAID table, keyed by name, records UUID, RAID level, creation timestamp, member-disk list, owner, total/free size, auto-sync flag, and row status, while a management table adds location state, an action trigger, run state, auto-rebuild flag, sync percentage, hide state, LV-restore flag, RAID type, and a cache sub-table. As a hardware-status MIB it lets an administrator watch a RAID array's sync percentage and run state during a rebuild after a disk replacement. It is deployed on H3C storage/server platforms with RAID controllers. Engineers can download the HH3C-RAID-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in HH3C-RAID-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • H3C storage/server platforms (RAID controllers)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator monitors hh3cRaidSyncPercentage and hh3cRaidRunState to track progress after replacing a failed disk in a RAID array on an H3C storage platform.

What Can Be Monitored

  • RAID array sync progress and run state
