Category: Routing Protocols, Technology: Multicast, Vendor: H3C/HH3C
Description: Manages IP multicast routing, PIM configuration, and mroute tables on H3C Layer 3 switches and routers.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is HH3C-MULTICAST-MIB?
HH3C-MULTICAST-MIB is a Hangzhou H3C Technologies proprietary MIB with a single global object enabling/disabling multicast routing on the device. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm whether multicast routing is globally enabled on an H3C (Hangzhou) device. It is deployed on H3C networking equipment. Engineers can download the HH3C-MULTICAST-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in HH3C-MULTICAST-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- H3C networking equipment
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks hh3cMulticastEnable to confirm whether multicast routing is globally active on an H3C device.
What Can Be Monitored
- global multicast-routing enable state
