rTrapAddrFlag

Module: Fib-sys

OID (symbolic): Fib-sys::rTrapAddrFlag

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.1.1.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

What is rTrapAddrFlag?

This marks whether a runtime trap-address entry is fixed(0), meaning it cannot be removed by the aging mechanism, or removable(1), meaning it can be aged out. An admin uses fixed(0) for a permanent monitoring station's entry so it survives the automatic aging that clears learned entries.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.1.1.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> Fib-sys::rTrapAddrFlag

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.1.1.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> Fib-sys::rTrapAddrFlag.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.1.1.1.6.1 i <value>
