Description: Fusion-io ioDIMM MIB for monitoring flash storage acceleration cards including health, temperature, and performance metrics.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is FUSIONIO-IODIMM-MIB?

FUSIONIO-IODIMM-MIB is a vendor MIB from Fusion-io for monitoring its ioDIMM/ioDrive PCIe flash storage acceleration cards. It exposes a card inventory and health table with serial number, part number, and status fields, plus an overall device condition summary object. Its monitoring emphasis is direct hardware health: per-card status, an overall condition indicator, and identifying information let an administrator catch a degrading or failing flash module before it causes data loss, alongside tracking the MIB/firmware revision in use. It is a standalone vendor MIB specific to Fusion-io's ioMemory product line. It is deployed in servers using Fusion-io PCIe flash cards for storage acceleration in database or virtualization hosts. Engineers can download the FUSIONIO-IODIMM-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in FUSIONIO-IODIMM-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Fusion-io ioDIMM/ioDrive PCIe flash card, installed in servers

Monitoring Examples

fusionIoDimmInfoTable (fusionIoDimmInfoIndex, fusionIoDimmInfoStatus, fusionIoDimmInfoSerialNumber, fusionIoDimmInfoPartNumber) lets an admin poll per-card health status and identify a specific card by serial number, while fusionIoDimmMIBCondition gives an overall condition summary that would flag a degraded or failing flash module before it impacts application performance.

What Can Be Monitored

  • per-card health/condition status
  • card serial and part number
  • MIB/firmware revision
  • overall device condition summary
