Description: Flarion Technologies MIB for subscriber user information management in Flash-OFDM mobile broadband access networks.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is FLARION-USERINFO-MIB?

FLARION-USERINFO-MIB is a Flarion Technologies (Flash-OFDM mobile broadband, later acquired by Qualcomm) proprietary MIB recording site/deployment metadata for a wireless base station. Its objects cover the carrier-controlled site ID/name/owner, install/commission dates, free-text notes, street/city/county/state/postal/country address fields, latitude/longitude/ground elevation, structure type, antenna configuration, sector count, cluster and domain assignment, and a per-sector antenna table (index, name, morphology). As a configuration/inventory MIB it lets a wireless carrier maintain accurate physical-site records tied to each base station's SNMP identity. It is deployed on Flarion Technologies (Qualcomm) Flash-OFDM base stations. Engineers can download the FLARION-USERINFO-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in FLARION-USERINFO-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Flarion Technologies (Qualcomm) Flash-OFDM base stations

Monitoring Examples

A wireless carrier's operations team checks siteLatitude and siteLongitude alongside siteInstallDate to confirm accurate site records are on file for a Flarion base station before a field visit.
