Description: This attribute is used if cfmMepLmTxCountAllPrios is false. This attribute serves three purposes: - It is the VLAN priority of the LMM. - Data frames transmitted and received with this VLAN priority are counted by the MEP. The transmit count is sent in the LMM and the receive count is used to complete the list of four counts used for the loss measurement. - If an LMR is received with a VLAN priority other than this the LMR is dropped.
What is cfmMepLmTxPriority?
This sets the single VLAN priority used for loss measurement when cfmMepLmTxCountAllPriosEnabled is false: it is the LMM's own priority, the priority whose frame counts get reported, and the priority an incoming LMR must match or be dropped. An admin configures this to align loss measurement with the specific CoS class carrying the traffic of interest.
