What Is F10-C-SERIES-CHASSIS-MIB?

F10-C-SERIES-CHASSIS-MIB is a Dell (Force10 Networks heritage) proprietary MIB reporting chassis hardware inventory for the Dell Force10 C-Series enterprise chassis switch. Its objects cover chassis type/mode, software version, MAC address, serial number, part number, product revision, vendor ID, date/country code, slot/linecard/fan-tray/power-supply/SFM-slot counts, piece-part ID and revision, service tag, express service code, and a system-card table (slot index, type, number, port count). As a hardware-inventory MIB it lets an administrator confirm exact chassis identification and installed card counts across a Force10 C-Series chassis. It is deployed on the Dell Force10 C-Series enterprise chassis switch. Engineers can download the F10-C-SERIES-CHASSIS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in F10-C-SERIES-CHASSIS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
