pTrapAging

Module: EDB-snmp

OID (symbolic): EDB-snmp::pTrapAging

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.2.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Description: Time in sec. until we erase a trap entry

What is pTrapAging?

This OID configures, in seconds, how long an entry in the permanent trap destination table is kept before being erased, and unlike the running-table version, is itself writable. Admins tune this to control how long persistently-learned trap receivers remain registered before aging out.

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.2.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> EDB-snmp::pTrapAging.1
