Description: This attribute represents the relative priority of a Service Flow. Higher numbers indicate higher priority.

This priority should only be used to differentiate Service Flow from identical parameter sets. This attribute returns 0 if the referenced parameter is not present in the corresponding DOCSIS QOS Parameter Set or if the parameter is not applicable.

What is docsQosParamSetPriority?

This object represents the relative priority assigned to a specific DOCSIS Quality of Service parameter set, with higher numeric values indicating higher priority levels. It is used by cable modem (CM) and cable modem termination system (CMTS) devices to differentiate between Service Flows that have identical QoS parameter configurations. An operator would check this value when troubleshooting QoS behavior to ensure traffic is being prioritized correctly, particularly when multiple service flows with the same characteristics exist.
