Description:
This attribute specifies the maximum duration in seconds that resources remain in admitted state before resources must be released. The value of 0 signifies an infinite amount of time. If the referenced parameter is not present in the corresponding DOCSIS QOS Parameter Set, this attribute returns 200.
What is docsQosParamSetAdmittedTimeout?
This object specifies the maximum time in seconds that a QoS resource reservation can remain in admitted state before being released in a DOCSIS cable network. A value of 0 means infinite duration; if not present, the default is 200 seconds. Cable operators use this to manage resource admission timing and prevent indefinite reservation of bandwidth that may not be used.
