Category: IP and Core Protocols, Vendor: Aastra
Description: Manages Aastra multicast protocol configuration for IGMP handling and multicast group membership.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is CXMCPRT-MIB?
CXMCPRT-MIB is a legacy proprietary MIB (built on CXProduct-SMI) reporting front-panel console port and multi-channel serial-port statistics on the HC600 chassis. Its objects cover global console rate, a reset-statistics action, station ID, a per-port configuration table (driver used, reinit-port action, updated flag), and a per-port statistics table (RTS/DTR/DSR/DCD/CTS modem-control-lead state, message TX/RX counts, reinit count, flow-control TX/RX counts, error TX/RX counts, connect count). As a configuration/performance MIB it lets an administrator confirm serial-port modem-control-lead state and watch for flow-control/error events on an HC600 chassis. It is deployed on legacy HC600 chassis equipment (CXProduct-SMI vendor line). Engineers can download the CXMCPRT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CXMCPRT-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Legacy HC600 chassis equipment (CXProduct-SMI vendor line)
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks cxMcPrtStatCntErrRx and cxMcPrtStatDsr to diagnose a misbehaving serial port on an HC600 chassis.
What Can Be Monitored
- serial-port modem-control state and error statistics
