What Is CTRON-SFPS-SOFTLINK-MIB?

CTRON-SFPS-SOFTLINK-MIB is a Cabletron Systems (SFPS = SmartSwitch Frame-relay/Packet Switch heritage) proprietary MIB reporting software-defined facility status across several logical facility categories. Its centers-facility table, keyed by address, records metric, element name, operational/admin status, status time, and request/response counts, a beta-facility table (hash index, element name, admin/oper status, status time) covers a second facility class, and a call-tap-facility table covers a third. As a status MIB it lets an administrator confirm the operational state of these internal facility types on a Cabletron SFPS switch. It is deployed on legacy Cabletron Systems SFPS switching equipment. Engineers can download the CTRON-SFPS-SOFTLINK-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CTRON-SFPS-SOFTLINK-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor.
