Category: Vendor: Conel
Description: Provides the top-level OID structure and product registration for Conel industrial router MIBs.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is CONEL-MIB?
CONEL-MIB is the top-level registration MIB for Conel (an industrial cellular router manufacturer later associated with Teltonika) devices, defining the enterprise OID structure and per-product registration nodes for models like the ER75, ER75i, UR5, and UR5i routers. It contains structural/registration objects rather than functional telemetry, serving to identify which specific hardware model a management station is talking to via its sysObjectID. It does not itself expose hardware or software status data such as cellular signal strength, uptime, or I/O state; that telemetry lives in the product-specific sub-MIBs registered beneath this tree. As a purely structural module, other Conel functional MIBs depend on it for their OID prefixes, much like other vendors' top-level enterprise registration modules. It is used in industrial and M2M/IoT deployments where Conel cellular routers provide remote connectivity, such as at unattended sites or vehicles. Engineers can download the CONEL-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CONEL-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Conel ER75/ER75i industrial cellular router
- Conel UR5/UR5i industrial cellular router
Monitoring Examples
An NMS discovering a Conel router reads its sysObjectID, which resolves into this MIB's product subtree (for example, routerER75i or routerUR5), letting the management system identify the exact hardware model in use. Based on that identification, the NMS then knows which model-specific sub-MIB to load in order to poll actual operational data, such as cellular connection status or I/O state, for that router.
What Can Be Monitored
- device model identification via OID registration
- product-line registration structure (no direct telemetry in this module)
