What Is CISCO-WAN-VISM-CAS-GRP-CAPABILITY?
CISCO-WAN-VISM-CAS-GRP-CAPABILITY is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES module declaring which Channel Associated Signaling (CAS) channel-group objects the Cisco VISM agent supports for a given release. Being a conformance module, it contains no runtime monitoring objects and cannot itself be polled for status. Its role is purely to inform management systems which CAS group configuration/management capabilities are implemented by a particular VISM software version, rather than to expose hardware or software health data directly. It is entirely dependent on the base VISM CAS group MIB it describes capabilities for. It would be used by NMS tooling as a CISCO-WAN-VISM-CAS-GRP-CAPABILITY reference when onboarding Cisco VISM modules configured for CAS-based, rather than CCS/ISDN, trunk signaling.
