Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is CISCO-TRUSTSEC-SERVER-MIB?

CISCO-TRUSTSEC-SERVER-MIB is a Cisco Systems, Inc. proprietary MIB configuring and monitoring AAA (RADIUS) servers in a Cisco TrustSec environment. Its objects cover an authorization-list, server dead-time, load-balance method/batch-size, same-provisioned-server-use flag, all-server-test enable/dead-time/interval, server key-wrap enable, a server-test-configuration table (address type/address, enable, dead-time, interval, storage type, row status), and a provisioned-server table (address type/address, port, authority ID, status). As a configuration/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm which AAA servers are provisioned and their load-balancing/dead-time settings in a Cisco TrustSec deployment. It is deployed on Cisco Systems equipment running TrustSec. Engineers can download the CISCO-TRUSTSEC-SERVER-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-TRUSTSEC-SERVER-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Cisco Systems equipment (TrustSec)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks ctsvProvisionedServerTable and ctsvServerLoadBalanceMethod to confirm AAA server provisioning and load-balancing configuration in a Cisco TrustSec environment.
