What Is CISCO-ITP-XUA-CAPABILITY?
CISCO-ITP-XUA-CAPABILITY is a Cisco AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance module declaring which features of the CISCO-ITP-XUA-MIB (covering SIGTRAN xUA protocols such as M3UA/SUA used to carry SS7 signaling over IP) a given Cisco ITP agent implementation supports. It belongs to the Cisco IP Transfer Point (ITP) SS7-over-IP product family and defines no runtime data objects of its own. Being a conformance-only module, it has no bearing on monitoring hardware or software status directly; it exists to let management systems verify feature/compliance support for the companion CISCO-ITP-XUA-MIB. Its dependency is entirely on CISCO-ITP-XUA-MIB. It is used by SNMP management and compliance tooling rather than in routine operational polling. Engineers can download the CISCO-ITP-XUA-CAPABILITY file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
