Description: The beginning of the static VC administrative label range. There cannot be any overlap between static and dynamic label ranges. Setting this object does not become effective until the device is rebooted.
What is cienaCesMplsGlobalStaticAdminVcLabelRangeStart?
This is the administratively configured lower boundary of the label range set aside specifically for statically provisioned VCs (virtual circuits/pseudowires), a separate sub-pool from the static tunnel range, and a change here similarly requires a reboot to take effect. This lets network operators size the static pseudowire label pool independently of the static tunnel pool, which matters on a device carrying a large number of manually configured Layer 2 pseudowires. If pseudowire provisioning is being throttled by label exhaustion while tunnel labels are plentiful, this is the specific boundary to widen.
