This object indicates whether tunnel reversion is turned on or off for this dynamic encap tunnel, the same mechanism used for static tunnels, as the description states. On a dynamically signaled tunnel, reversion means that once the primary LSP successfully resignals after a failure, traffic switches back to it after the hold timer rather than continuing on whatever backup LSP took over -- which matters because a newly resignaled primary might still be settling onto its recomputed path right after coming back up. For example, leaving reversion on for a dynamic tunnel group ensures traffic automatically returns to the intended primary path once RSVP-TE successfully reestablishes it, rather than staying indefinitely on a backup LSP.
