This is the tunnel ID assigned by the head-end (source) router when this LSP was signaled. This identifier, together with the destination tunnel ID, is how the head and tail routers of an LSP correlate signaling messages for the exact same tunnel instance, which matters when a device is tracking many overlapping tunnels between the same pair of routers. The head-end router might have assigned source tunnel ID 2560 when it originally signaled this LSP.
