This specifies the type of path diversity required for this tunnel's recovery/backup path -- none, link-disjoint, node-disjoint, SRLG-disjoint (avoiding a shared risk group like a common conduit or fiber bundle), or unknown. An admin sets this specifically to guarantee a backup path doesn't share a failure domain with the primary; SRLG-disjoint is the strongest guarantee since two paths could be node- and link-disjoint yet still share a physical conduit that a single backhoe cut could sever. For example, a tunnel set to srlg(4) disjoint recovery ensures its backup path was selected to avoid any fiber conduit the primary also uses, protecting against exactly that shared-conduit failure scenario.
