What Is CFG-PLCY-MIB?
CFG-PLCY-MIB is Sitara Networks' proprietary SNMP module for the QosWorks/QosArray bandwidth management and QoS policy appliances, covering configuration-policy management. It exposes objects describing the policy configuration subsystem itself -- versioning, storage mode, last update timestamps, per-row update behavior, and cross-reference alias tables linking scheduler, link, group, CBQ (Class-Based Queuing) class, and filter policy elements. Rather than traffic or hardware counters, its principal monitoring value is around configuration/software health: sitaraCfgPlcyVersion and sitaraCfgPlcyLastUpdateTime let an administrator confirm which policy configuration is loaded and when it last changed, while sitaraCfgPlcyApplyError surfaces failures when a policy push/apply operation did not succeed, indicating a configuration or software fault on the device. It is a self-contained enterprise MIB with no explicit dependency noted on other standard MIBs beyond Sitara's own enterprise tree. It would be deployed on enterprise/ISP WAN links where Sitara QosWorks/QosArray appliances enforce bandwidth and QoS policies, with this MIB used to verify policy changes applied cleanly. Engineers can download the CFG-PLCY-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CFG-PLCY-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
An administrator would poll sitaraCfgPlcyApplyError after a policy push to confirm the new QoS configuration applied without error, and check sitaraCfgPlcyLastUpdateTime to verify the change took effect; the sitaraCfgPlcyCrossIndexTable/sitaraCfgPlcyCrossIndexTableEntry and its alias objects (sitaraCfgPlcyCrossSchdAlias, sitaraCfgPlcyCrossLinkAlias, sitaraCfgPlcyCrossGroupAlias, sitaraCfgPlcyCrossCbqClassAlias, sitaraCfgPlcyCrossFilterAlias) would be inspected to confirm scheduler, link, group, CBQ class, and filter policy objects are correctly cross-referenced by name.
