What Is BLACKBERRYSERVERMIB-SMIV2?
BLACKBERRYSERVERMIB-SMIV2 is the SMIv2-updated version of BlackBerry's enterprise MIB for entities implementing SNMP management of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, modernizing the original SMIv1-style module with proper trap/notification definitions. It exposes similar ground to BLACKBERRYSERVER-MIB — BES service status and trap notifications for server-side events. As with its predecessor, this module is used to monitor software/service status of the BES platform, and its trap definitions specifically support fault notification (e.g., service failure events) rather than hardware sensors.
