Description: Monitors Carrier-Grade NAT (CGNAT) translation statistics on Benu Networks broadband gateway platforms.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is BENU-CGNAT-STATS-MIB?
BENU-CGNAT-STATS-MIB is a Benu Networks, Inc. proprietary MIB reporting CGNAT (Carrier-Grade NAT) statistics for the Benu Wireless Access Gateway. Its authentication statistics table, keyed by index, records profile name, public-IP-zero and no-free-port counts, flow add/delete success/failure counts, timer-allocation failures, unsupported-Layer-4-drop count, NAT-flow sync-failure count, and ICMP-ID/TCP-port/UDP-port allocation and release success/failure counts. As a performance MIB it lets an administrator watch CGNAT port/flow allocation failures indicating address-pool exhaustion on a Benu WAG. It is deployed on Benu Networks Wireless Access Gateway platforms. Engineers can download the BENU-CGNAT-STATS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in BENU-CGNAT-STATS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Benu Networks Wireless Access Gateway platforms
Monitoring Examples
An administrator monitors bCgnatAuthDomainNoFreePortCount to catch CGNAT port-pool exhaustion on a Benu Wireless Access Gateway.
What Can Be Monitored
