What Is BCS-IDENT-MIB?

BCS-IDENT-MIB is an industrial-networking identification module (originating from Motorola's BCS line and carried forward through Belden/Hirschmann industrial Ethernet products) providing common device identification and inventory objects. It exposes basic identity data such as device model, hardware/firmware version, and similar inventory attributes rather than deep performance counters.
