What Is ATTO-PRODUCTS-MIB?
ATTO-PRODUCTS-MIB is a vendor product-identification module from ATTO Technology, a manufacturer of Fibre Channel and SAS storage bridges and host bus adapters (HBAs). Rather than exposing live operational data, it defines the enterprise OID subtree (attoProducts, attoModules, attoGenericDevice) used to populate sysObjectID so that management stations can identify the specific ATTO hardware platform they are talking to. It includes an AGENT-CAPABILITIES statement (attoAgentCapability) describing which standard MIB groups the agent implements, rather than defining new instrumented objects itself. As such it has no direct hardware/software health counters of its own; instead it supports monitoring indirectly by letting NMS tools recognize the device model and then apply appropriate standard MIBs (e.g. Host Resources, Fibre Channel MIBs) for uptime, temperature, or status polling. It depends on the standard SNMPv2-SMI enterprise tree and is typically deployed alongside ATTO's storage bridge/HBA firmware in SAN environments. Engineers can download the ATTO-PRODUCTS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

Monitoring Examples
This module has no runtime data objects of its own — it is a device/product identification and conformance module. Its content consists of OID assignments like attoProducts and attoModules used as sysObjectID values, plus an attoAgentCapability statement listing which MIB groups the ATTO agent supports. An admin would use it only to map a discovered sysObjectID to a specific ATTO product model, not to poll live counters.
