All MIBs › ATDHCP-MIB

Category: IP and Core Protocols, Vendor: Allied Telesis

Description: Manages DHCP server and relay configuration including address pool assignments and client lease tracking on Allied Telesis devices.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ATDHCP-MIB?

ATDHCP-MIB is an Allied Telesyn proprietary MIB (built on ATSWTCH2-MIB) reporting DHCP client-lease state on the switch's own management interface. Its objects cover the current DHCP client address (assigned by the server on DHCPOFFER once the client accepts the best offer via DHCPREQUEST/DHCPACK), subnet mask, current relay-agent address, next DHCP server address, lease timer, reacquisition timer, and expiration timer. As a status MIB it lets an administrator confirm the switch's own DHCP-obtained management address and remaining lease time on an Allied Telesyn switch. It is deployed on Allied Telesyn switching equipment. Engineers can download the ATDHCP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ATDHCP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Allied Telesyn switching equipment

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks atswitchDHCPExpirationTimer to confirm how much longer the switch's DHCP-leased management address remains valid on an Allied Telesyn switch.

What Can Be Monitored

  • DHCP client lease state on the switch's management interface
