It depends on the underlying call-handling MIBs in this family (such as ASCEND-CALL-MIB) for the call legs that VoIP sessions ride on. It was deployed on Ascend VoIP gateways used by carriers and enterprises to bridge traditional telephony and IP networks. Session statistics are typically correlated with ASCEND-CALL-MIB call data to pinpoint whether a quality issue is voice-specific or trunk-wide.
