This object specifies a weight value that determines how much bandwidth a particular egress queue receives from the port's scheduler when traffic exceeds the configured CIR (Committed Information Rate). Higher weights cause that queue to get more of the excess bandwidth. An operator configures this to prioritize certain traffic types or applications that should receive more bandwidth when the link is congested.
