Description: The value of tFilterRUTDropCount specifies the number of consecutive requests that must fail for the destination to declared unreachable.

What is tFilterRUTDropCount?

This object specifies how many consecutive failed requests to a destination must occur before that destination is considered unreachable. An operator configures this threshold to control the sensitivity of route detection; higher values tolerate more transient failures. This is used in a Reachability Update Table (RUT) mechanism to determine when to mark a route as unavailable.
