Description:
The value tFilterRSTLastType is 'ipAddress'. Although this seems to be unfriendly for IPv6, we have to recognize that there are a number of older MIBs that do contain an IPv4 format address, known as IpAddress.
IPv6 addresses are represented using TAddress or InetAddress, and so the underlying datatype is OCTET STRING, and their value would be stored in the tFilterRSTLastOctetStringVal column.
What is tFilterRSTLastIpAddressVal?
This read-only object contains the IPv4 address value that was last evaluated during an SNMP redirect filter test, used when the test condition references an IP address type. The address is stored in standard IPv4 format to support legacy MIB compatibility, though newer implementations may use IPv6 addresses via separate OCTET STRING columns. Operators examine this to see what IP address was used during the most recent filter diagnostic test.
