Description:

What is tFilterRPTTimeout?
This object specifies the maximum time in seconds (1-60) allowed for a Reverse Path Trace filter to receive a response from a far-end host before marking it as unresponsive. If no reply arrives within this timeout window, the filter concludes the remote host is unreachable or not responding. An operator would adjust this timeout based on network latency to balance between fast failure detection and false negatives due to slow networks.
